Au Britannias a good collector coin?
They look nice and noticed most mintages are low. Is there any demand by collectors for them or they just considered bullion?

Silver Britannias are very desirable. Good luck finding them at less than double spot. They are ostensibly bullion, but the attractive designs, low mintages, and strong market demand (not to mention the high original pricing from the Royal Mint) have made them quite collectible. If you find a good deal on some, grab 'em. You won't regret it anytime soon.

It will be hard to lose money on them, but at the same time their premiums stay consistent. For me, they fall into the same category some of the lunars and kooks do. They tend to trail the market, which makes them good counter investments.
Once the margin gets low, I buy the semi-collectibles. Once the premiums are large, I switch to bullion. It seems to provide the most bang for the buck |
